glass etching and carving
Had a couple of people in today who were very complimentary about my etched doors and tables. We will have classes some day on how to do that. But first, we must start with baby steps and do small projects. Hopefully this summer we will have a few glass classes.

Yesterday had a customer who found us on the web. She was from Hastings, NE . It's great that the word is out on our place. Felting is so cool! and coming this spring, silk painting will be cool too!

A visit from one of our artists in the gallery
Yesterday had a great visit in the gallery with our portrait artist. Today, had people coming in who commented on how nice and realistic her work is. I agree. Come take a look sometime.

I have been working on an underwater turtle with his shell from fabric I dyed and the rest of the seascape being in wool felt. Work still in progress.

New chamber membership
Today I joined the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce and just returned from their new member breakfast. The chamber has lots to offer me. I'm excited and eager to participate.
Valentines Day is coming before you know it.
Springfield Artworks is preparing for the big sweetheart gift time of the year. We have lots of glass hearts, glass candy dishes,felted heart pins, handmade scarves, etched and carved glass garden stakes etc...and for him....handmade silk ties...oh my! You just have to come visit us....
