Brought some of my dyes to the studio today. Also visited a quilt shop in ElkHorn, IA and found many fabrics to experiment with. I'm excited...but first have some very important catching up to do. Must do flyers for our Garden Gate on April 23,24 and 25. Hope everyone can come out.
Also, the Grow Nebraska book is coming out soon. I worked on my proof today.

Great Article in today's Papillion Times
There's a really great article in the Springfield Monitor section of the times today on the Daisies visit to a sheep farm and Springfield ArtWorks. If anyone is in this area be sure and pick one up. It's in full color. I'm holding up a felted piece I made in a Pat Spark class.

visit from daisies
I had a great time with the Daisies that visited. Should be an article in the Papillion Times (Nebraska newspaper)soon. I had forgotten how excited little girls are about learning new things. Great day last Thursday.

Catch Up Day
Today was a catch up day. Got some fun things to share with the group of Daisies that are coming out this week to learn about what happens to wool after it's sheared. I'm excited. 14 girls and their leaders will be in the gallery later in the week for my demo.

whirlwind of classes
Just returned this weekend from IL & WI where I took classes from a Golden representative at my Fiber Divas group, a class from Barbara Schneider on Improvisational Fabric Forming & an artbiz retreat presented by AlysonBStanfield from Golden,CO.
I am on overload with info....but sure I'll recover. Loved every minute of it. Can't wait to use some of the processes.
