New offerings at the Gallery
Just got some Coale Design batik scarves in as well as some Gloria Lewis silk jackets and shawls. They are really special. Check them out. We will be closed for the 4th holiday from Thurs noon until Wed of next week regular time. I am expecting more of the Anne Lullie dyed shirts in later next week. They went out like hotcakes.....watch for them.
Baseball hot dogs and Omaha
Tonight might be the last College World Series game at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha. Next yr the games move to TD Ameritrade Park in downtown Omaha. Special closing ceremonies at the last game. If South Carolina wins tonights game against UCLA, it's all history at Rosenblatt. Springfield ArtWorks congratulates, in advance, the final winner at the CWS at Rosenblatt.

Art, Antiques and Ice Cream
On the way to the Wine and Blues Festival at Soaring Wings Winery, stop off on Main Street, Springfield for some fun places. Etched garden stakes, dicroic glass jewelry, silk painted scarves, felted hats and purses all abound at the gallery. Wonderful antiques just down the street at Corky's Place and up the hill visit the old fashioned Soda Fountain at Springfield Drug. Their ice cream is the best. Even get balloons for the kids. Fun day!!!

Omaha Quilt Show
Just returned from the Omaha Quilt Show. I had a booth there. Lots of great folks stopped by. Sold a couple of my hats in addition to some of the other art pieces. The hats were a hit! People ooh'd and aah'd over all the color in the hand dyed scarves. The art quilts by Sharon Malec were a crowd pleaser. Lots of interest in classes...I'm excited.
Mike and Mary who interviewed me on their Morning Blend show, KMTV, a couple of weeks ago participated in the celebrity quilt judging.
I met people from South Dakota, Minnesota, Missouri, California as well as area states.
