Busy Saturday
Today was a busy day at our gallery and studio. We had a bus tour from South Dakota this afternoon, inquiries about Girl Scout fusing and fiber art classes, guests from several different cities in Nebraska and people just stopping in because they saw our unique birdhouse display outside. Glenn used to make birdhouses for fun and we still have a few left. Birds really use them for their home too so that is a great thing. FYI: We also have felted bird pods....very environmentally friendly.

Phew! what a weekend.
Just spent a couple of days in class....learning how to make a wonderful art quilt and attempting to do some free form quilting stitches...have a way to go on both of those projects. Not being a sew-er is a challenge. Frieda Anderson, from Illinois was the workshop instructor....wonderful!

New Art Quits to be exhibited at Springfield ArtWorks
Soon we will be having new work by Sharon Malec and Frieda Anderson, both members of PAQA, the professional Art Quilters organization in Illinois. I'm excited.
